It's a “Juicey” Quarterfinal!

Well…what a crazy month it has been and we’re just about ready to exhale now.

With the build-up to Boot Camp now fully behind us, this is the moment we’ve been anticipating for.

You’ve voted in your thousands, the public have spoken and we can reveal that the winner of the 3rd 1Click2Fame Quarterfinal, who will be walking away with £25,000 sponsorship, is… JUiCE!

Callum, Chris, Richard and Jamie hail from Preston and managed to win your votes with their self-penned track and amazing performance, Alright.

Since the start of the month, the boys have relentlessly campaigned and rounded up their “JUiCE Army” to try and get their message out. And what a brilliant job they did of it! After a huge number of tweets from @JuiceOfficial, 2 appeal videos and constant Facebook updates, they’ve managed to just scrape in at the top of the chart at the very last minute!

We spoke to Jamie earlier and after screaming for about half and hour, he said,

“We’re completely speechless. Thank you so much to everyone at 1Click2Fame and everyone who voted! We can’t believe it. It was the hardest and most unbearable thing as it was so close but we’re over the moon. Thank you. We’re off to celebrate now!”

Their Quarterfinal win also means that the JUiCE boys will be in our grand Annual Final competing for £100,000 sponsorship prize. Joining them will be 2nd and 3rd place runners-up Kkv91 and Nena Kubu. Kkv91 has already made it to the Annual Final as she came 2nd in Quarterfinal 2. So, Hollie McKinlay will also be competing for the £100k prize very soon! Congratulations to you all!

Quarterfinal clicks off

It’s exciting times here at 1Click2Fame as the 3rd and last (before the Annual Final) Quarterfinal has officially started!

The twelve talented acts are competing for your vote and their chance to win £25,000 sponsorship. They’ve got this far, but have they got what it takes to win?

Each of our amazing Quarterfinalists has recorded a performance for you to watch. Now all they ask for is your vote, your precious clicks, to reach the top of the charts.

The Final Call

It’s exciting times here at 1Click2Fame, what with our 3rd and last Quarterfinal kicking off next Thursday. Our 12 Quarterfinalists will be battling it out for a whopping £25k sponsorship and the top 3 will also win a place in our Annual Final. These lucky 3 will be joining the Top 3 from Quarterfinals 1 and 2 to compete for the grand £100k sponsorship prize!

What’s that you say? Only 9 competitors? There should be 12? Well, yes, you’re absolutely right! And that’s where our Star Coaches come in.

Vocal coach to the stars, Stevie Lange, Music and Broadcast Executive, Alex Donelly and Founder of ZooNation UK, Kate Prince will be getting together very soon to choose the all-important Wildcards for the last 3 places in the Annual Final. The 1Click2Fame Star Coaches will be trawling through the site for the next couple of weeks to see who they think deserves this amazing opportunity.

So, if you think you’ve got what it takes to be in the running and to be the Star Coaches’ Wildcard choice then upload your video performance now! Get involved! Kate's L.A. Story

Whilst we’re in preparation for our 3rd and last Quarterfinal, we thought we’d remind the 12 talented lot what they could be winning at the end of this month. And who better to demonstrate this then our lovely Quarterfinal 2 winner Katem3.

Kate travelled to the “home of celebrity,” Los Angeles, last month where she worked alongside producers and songwriters Mark Maxwell, Asia ‘Persuasia‘ Whiteacre and Ted Bruner, who has worked with the likes of Katy Perry, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus!

We caught up with Kate the other day and she said: “It was fantastic. Really loved every minute of it. It’s so much bigger and more colourful there. I got back into Paddington and saw all the grey buildings, train tracks, clouds and angry people and was like…whoa, cheer up England! It was amazing working with those guys and pulling out songs everyday.” We’re definitely looking forward to hearing Kate’s brand new tracks. We can’t wait!

February's Final is here!

This month’s Final is slightly different from all of the other finals we’ve had. The reason for this is because it is the LAST monthly final before we go into our LAST Quarterfinal before we hold our Annual Grand Final! Yes, it’s pretty exciting times here and with Bootcamp plans already underway, 3 more competitors will have the chance to be put through their paces to propel them to the next stage on their road to fame, not to mention a professional video shoot too.

So here are the Final 12 for February, as voted by you lovely lot:

Stephen Cullis – Stephen recently joined 1Click2Fame and has shot up the charts almost overnight. His self-penned song “Rainbows” has proved to be very popular with our judges on the site.

JUiCE – This 4-piece band from Preston say that their music is influenced by Busted, McFly and Paramore. Their upbeat sounds are sure to get your feet tapping and maybe some mouses clicking too!

Also joining these 2 are the all-time favourites and contenders from this quarter; Hollie McKinlay, The Angel of Music, Sarah Duce, Nena Kubu, The Many Faces of Louise Stokes, KKV91 and Thea Kate. The Wildcard Choices, as chosen by our Star Coaches, are The Management, Soul Mover and Kyle Newton.

First winner of 2010!

You’ve all been clicking away everyday to see your favourite act make an epic climb to the top of the chart. So much so, that your mouse is starting to look abit under the weather.

But, worry not, 1Click friend, your efforts have not gone unnoticed. We’ve counted up all the votes and here is where your contribution lies:

Sarah Duce – It’s a good start to the new year for our Pod Princess Sarah as she walks away with the top prize of a professional recording shoot with top production company Flynn. We spoke to Sarah and here is what she had to say: Sarah Duce

“I’ve had so much support from my family and friends so I would like to say a big thank you to all of them. I’ve had people voting for me in the Isle-of-Man, so it’s great to see the support. It’s a great start to the new year, thank you!”

Sarah came out in 2nd place last month, which already secured her a place in our 3rd and last Quarterfinal before we head into our Annual Final. So joining her will be the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place competitors of this month: Kkv91, Himandmetv and Hollie McKinlay.

These talented lot will be heading over to our Boot Camp in March where they will be given tips and training from our Star Coaches.

A sense of Euphoria

Since winning our 1st Quarterfinal back in July, 4-piece rock band, Euphoria Audio, have been busy writing and recording new tracks and performing countless gigs up and down the country.

We caught up with Lloydy, Shirty, Ben and Danny whilst doing their first acoustic set at The Hawley Arms in Camden last week for an update on what they’re going to be getting up to in the coming months.

Quick Catch-up with Kate

Since winning our 2nd Quarterfinal and walking away with the £25,000 sponsorship, Kate McGill, otherwise known as Katem3, has been incredibly busy working towards the limelight. Kate has started 2010 off with a bang and has already got a heavy schedule for the rest of the year. With such an already-large following on the world wide interweb, she will surely not disappoint.

Kate, from Plymouth, travelled to London last week where she was given the same treatment as Kylie, Robbie Williams and Stevie Wonder at Wendy House Productions where she spent three days writing songs and recording brand new tracks. As if that wasn’t enough, Kate also had an interview and photoshoot with Company Magazine on Friday. We caught up with Kate last week to ask her how she’s feeling about it all and here’s what she had to say,

“We’ve written 2 songs so far and I’m really excited. I’m enjoying it so much but I’m more scared than anything else. I can’t look forward to anything because I’m so scared!”

To top it all off, Kate will be jetting off to LA and Sweden in the next two months to write and produce even more songs. We don’t know about you but we’re quite excited to hear what she’ll be coming up with. So stick with us, we’ll be giving you constant updates throughout Kate’s journey. That’s the sponsorship Wakefield rockers Euphoria Audio have won in our first ever 1Click2Fame Quarterfinal. It was the icing on the cake for the four college pals, as they were also celebrating drummer Danny’s birthday.

Our Ambreena rang the boys to let them know they had been voted the favourites and using the wonders of technology we will be letting you listen in on that conversation next week, so stay posted.
