1Click2Fame inspires X Factor

How many times did we sit at home outraged by one of Simon Cowell or any other judge’s comments on our beloved TV talent shows? Sometimes we so wholeheartedly disagreed that we would even scream at the TV set to put those mean judges in their place.

Therefore, we were more than happy to read in today’s Daily Mail that Simon Cowell has decided to give 2009’s X Factor a 1Click2Fame-style revamp. This year’s auditions will no longer be held just in front of the 4 judges, but also include the general public. Simon explains that “live public support would provide a boost for performers as it did on Britain’s Got Talent”. He also spoke about BGT runner-up Susan Boyle, who had to endure the pressure of the live audience during her audition.

We at 1Click2Fame think that this is great news. Letting the public decide who has or hasn’t got talent is totally in line with what we promote. It’s all about democratising talent competitions.

The 1Click2Fame team is happy. But are YOU? Is it a good have this year’s X Factor auditions in front of a live audience or is it better to just have to impress the 4 judges? Let us know what you think.
